KCBJ: LiveKC Launches App

So are you looking for something to do in Kansas City, and don’t know where to look?  Code Koalas has partnered with LiveKC, to create the perfect solution! Recently written up in the Kansas City Business Journal, http://bit.ly/2b4NCyu, Leslie Collins details all the great features of the new app going live August 25th.

Erik Wullschleger, Director of LiveKC, wanted to find a way to promote and have widespread awareness of events going on in Kansas City. The city needs to ensure it is a fun place for millennials to live, work and play. This will guarantee our share of the next generation of professionals.

Events listed on the app will be curated by 30 expert individuals that were hand selected by Wullschleger at LiveKC, for being experts in their field.  There are several different categories on the app such as:  food, music, volunteerism, craft beer, community events, fashion, sport and more.  The curators will be given events to endorse, by using the ever popular swiping method.  The events are fed into the app via Facebook, and will include all event details as well as the event picture.
